Code of Conduct
- Kids must be healthy. Mild colds are the exception.

- Moms must closely supervise their children.
- Aggressive or uncooperative children are not allowed.

- Moms must clean up after their children.
- Moms are responsible for their children’s
actions.
It is important to remember that children can be moody,
dangerous and unpredictable at times. You understand that
by participating in group activities with other children
you are assuming any related risks.
If a there is a problem, please contact the child's mother
first to resolve any issues. If the
problems continue, then please consult someone on the
Executive Board.
Illness Policy
Please don’t attend meetings or activities if you or your
child(ren) have or have had any of the following symptoms
in the preceding 24 hours:
- vomiting
- diarrhea
- extreme lethargy
- rash
- oral temperature of 100+ degrees
- severe cough or pain
- discharge from eyes
- green mucous
- communicable disease (chicken pox, etc.)
This policy helps to protect all our children and mothers
from illness. Infants and pregnant women need all the
protection they can get, since any disease can be more
dangerous for them.
Swine Flu / H1N1 Virus Policy
Hamilton Township requires all organizations that use its
facilities to have a H1N1 Flu policy. After discussing it
at a recent board meeting, we presented the policy to the
members at our monthly meeting, where it received unanimous
approval.
- If you or your child has this virus, do not attend
any MOMS Club events until after being symptom-free for
24 hours or until 7 days after the onset of the virus,
whichever is longer.
- Also, do not attend any MOMS Club functions for at
least 48 hours after being exposed to the H1N1 virus, as
the incubation period is usually 24-48 hours, although it
could be up to 5 days.
- If you or your child are diagnosed with the H1N1
virus and have attended a MOMS Club event during the
incubation period, please contact a board member, so that
the other members who also present at that function can
be notified.
Discipline Policy
Stop any child from hurting another or oneself and If
necessary call the situation to the member's attention. If
your child displays aggressive or uncooperative behavior,
please try and correct the child and if necessary please
exit the event. Children who have continued behavioral
problems should be removed from group events for a time.
Remember that even the most angelic child occasionally has
a bad day. If your child starts being aggressive either by
hitting, pushing, grabbing things from others, or shows
uncooperative behavior such as refusing to share or take
turns, has over-the-top tantrums, etc., take your child
home, or at least give him/her a last chance to calm down
with time-out in an isolated area before taking the child
home.
Moms are responsible for their children’s actions. Please
speak up politely to the Mom involved if someone misses
their child’s activity. If the problems continue, then
please consult someone on the Executive Board. The
Executive Board will review any repeat non-action on a
member's part. The final decision will rest with the
Executive Board, which shall use the same criteria for all
children.
